Job Title: Testing & Certification Engineer

Note: Required Local Resident Applicant - Required to attend In Person Interview.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance to regulations via environmental tests in lab for Actuation Systems (DO-160)

2. Ensure compliance to regulations via vibration tests

3. Generate test reports and review supplier test reports

4. Coordinate activities of direct and consultant aircraft certification personnel for the review and approval of engineering drawings and documents to the requirements of the FAA or other airworthiness organizations

5. Develop certification plans, certification basis, compliance, and conformity plans

6. Generate engineering technical documents to support primary responsibilities

7. Coordinate conformity inspections by scheduling inspections with FAA designees and reviewing data packages before and after inspection

8. Assist in performance of laboratory and aircraft testing in support of primary responsibilities

9. Provide assistance to senior certification leadership in support of budget levels for new and ongoing programs

10. May perform as functional 'lead' for stress team on specific project(s)

Required Skills & Abilities

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related field

2. 4 years of related STC or TC Certification experience

3. Experience working in Aerospace domain

4. Familiar with FAA airworthiness regulations
