This is one of the most progressive mental health centers in the state of Virginia and they are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join them.

This position would be for both an administrative slot and for clinical work. The administrative piece would be serving as the Director of one of their busy clinics as well as director of their Psychological Forensic Testing Program. This is a Monday – Friday position and is a salaried opportunity.

The compensation is excellent and is directly based on your experience and skills. The area is ideal, one hour from DC or from Richmond, VA you may live pretty much anywhere in the area and that gives you choices from more urban to rural locations. Schools are excellent her and a four year college is in the community as well. Recreational and dining, shopping and housing are all outstanding and this area has been and continues to be one of the fastest growing parts of the state of Virginia.

Despite recent decades of suburban growth, reminders of the area’s past abound. The 40-block Fredericksburg Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places, embraces the city’s downtown area and contains more than 350 buildings dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. Crowds of tourists are drawn to the historic district of Fredericksburg during the summer months.

The area’s Civil War battles are commemorated in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park.

Nearby points of interest include Ferry Farm historic site in Stafford County where Washington spent his boyhood immediately across the river from Fredericksburg, and the George Washington Birthplace National Monument, located 38 miles to the east in Westmoreland County.
