Full Time

Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all internal users with hardware, software and applications problems

Duties and Responsibilities

•Provide first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software and applications problems

•Resolve as many user-reported problems as expertise permits using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases

•Maintains inventory of PC, laptop, server equipment and software licenses for key applications

•Performs new workstation imaging and software deployment with Empirium Software manager

•Manages Hyper-V, VMWare, and other Virtual Machine platforms

•Performs routine backups and disaster recovery procedures

•Administers creation/modification of call center agents within the PBX

•Provides basic hardware support for telephones, and fax machines

•Performs routine hardware maintenance and repairs

•Acts as a backup for the PBX/ACD/IVR administration


•Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux based operating systems, services, and applications

•General understanding of Layer2/3 networking and 802.11Q

•3 years experience in system administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience

•Flexibility to travel to other locations and shift work schedule to non-business hours when needed

•Experience with network components including routers, switches, patch panels

•Customer service skills such as active listening and conflict management

•Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities

•Strong verbal and written communication skills

•Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills

•Bachelor’s degree in technical field

Physical Requirements

•The ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
