Duties: Perform software systems analysis and support and services and work as part of a global team to support, and maintain a 22-hour trading system. Develop system instrumentation and monitoring tools. Provide extremely high levels of availability for the production, demonstration and test systems. Resolve any problems in these systems in a timely and professional manner. Provide understanding of the system architecture, apply/suggest bug fixes, develop new tools for system monitoring and reporting, and work with the internal business to identify and resolve issues. Offer end-to-end understanding of a complex online bond trading platform. Position requires flexibility regarding work schedule, including occasional weekend duties.

Three (3) years of relevant development experience. Experience must include:

Three (3) years of experience with each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Experience supporting an existing large system to very high levels of availability.

- Demonstrated ability to work on an existing system as opposed to developing from scratch

Two (2) years of experience with each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

- Relational database experience, including SQL

- Experience with dealing with internal customers on a regular basis.

- Experience writing and debugging scripts in an interpreted language such as Perl or Python.

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or a directly related field

40 hrs per week. 9am to 5:00pm. Monday - Friday.
