Top Must Haves for the Ideal Candidate:

1. 5-10 years of manufacturing engineering management and/or plant management experience in a highly engineered manufacturing environment (machine tool industry experience desirable) with a high level of understanding of costing & budgeting (P&L).

2. Bachelor's degree in related field.

3. Demonstrated experience with manufacturing engineering and lean and continuous improvement tools.

4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization.

• Drive targeted, sustainable improvement in all aspects of plant operations including safety, quality, production, and delivery.

• Lead the development and deployment of manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement.

• Cultivate a continuous improvement culture by establishing a commitment to the elimination of waste using tools of lean.

• Demonstrate a commitment to initiatives and drive discipline in training and using the tools.

• Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.

• Develop and control profits, plans, and budget.

• Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.

• Manage capital asset maintenance.

• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.

• Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, or make adjustments to plant facilities and equipment when necessary. Lead transformation of physical plant and support preventative maintenance programs.


A meaningful compensation package will be developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary, along with performance-based bonus.
