Job Overview:

As a member of our Modem field test group, candidate will be responsible for verifying Modem software's protocols/features and performance in field using commercial live or pre-commercial/trial OTA networks, both independently as well as in participation with with Infra partner and operators.

The verification will include LTE & volte/IMS technology areas including: Carrier Aggregation, Data Throughput, Latency, Mobility, VoIP, WiFi calling, Video Telephony and other air interface technologies.

Job responsibilities include feature and performance test execution in field for stationary/pedestrian/Mobility, Indoor/outdoor and various real world coverage scenarios.

Minimum Qualifications:

1-3 years’ experience in a similar role Job scope also involves scoping out test routes and validating manual and automation test execution modules

Real-time field log analysis, debugging/troubleshooting of issues or procedures on real-time basis in co-ordination with backend engineer

Continuous, daily level communication with backend engineer for test process, test planning, log collection and log upload to central servers

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player, able to work independently, and be able to work seamlessly with remote engineering teams as well as operator/infra partners as and when needed


Associate degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering is preferred
