Three Saints Bay, LLC is an Alaska Native holding company for the small businesses owned by Old Harbor Native Corporation. Our Corporate Headquarters is located in Anchorage, AK; our Corporate Office is in Manassas, VA; and an additional office is located in Charleston, SC.

Position Responsibilities:

We are currently searching for a GL Accountant to support the day to day accounting functions at our headquarters in Manassas, VA. Duties of this position include:

Researching and preparing monthly journal entries, including month end accruals and managing the monthly close process

Review and post accounts payable vouchers and accounts receivable cash receipts

Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations and analysis

Performing monthly bank reconciliations, verifying all deposits, addressing question and problems from banking institutions

Review/Analyze revenue, cost of goods sold, profit margin

Perform the accounting function for multiple entities

Maintain fixed assets schedule

Assist with year-end audits, preparation of month-end financial statements

Provide Accounting analysis and complex reconciliations

Providing support for internal audits and various information requests with customers

Ensuring receipt of accurate and timely information and the analysis required for management to monitor revenue, expenses and variance to budget

Prepares and reviews schedules needed by third party tax provider

Ensuring that all processing and reporting deadlines are consistently achieved

Support with special projects and workflow process improvements

Required Education/Skills:

US Citizen

BS degree in Accounting or related field

Ability to pass a background investigation

Excellent computer skills with an emphasis on MS Excel

Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to assist with process improvements in accounting and lead projects

Experience working in a professional services or government contracting environment

Working knowledge of GAAP

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience with Deltek CostPoint

Knowledge of government contracting and contract types CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FFP LOE, and T&M to include revenue recognition

1+ year(s) of accounting experience
