Job Description:

We are seeking a Customer Contract Coord II for a very important client

Administration/GPO Membership Team with required activities which may include the following: maintaining GPO membership, responding to internal and external inquiries and administering contract pricing. This position will be responsible for implementing pricing, uploading customer eligibility, and perform required contract maintenance in the system. Additional responsibilities may include ongoing department projects and customer transitions. Other requirements are proactively ensuring pricing accuracy in the system while meeting critical deadlines, and assisting with acquisition activities.

Essential Functions:

- Creating and updating direct and rebate pricing contracts.

- Process commitment forms for Group Purchasing Organizations and send distributor notifications.

- Work with Covidien Distributors and Sales Representatives to resolve pricing discrepancies.

- Testing new programming to validate system functionality.

- Participate in lean daily management processes and Kaizen events


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

Top three must haves: Demonstrated Excel ability (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas), an analytical mind-set with problem solving abilities, a self-starter who requires minimal supervision.

Education Required: Bachelor’s preferred but not required – preferably some college

Years of Experience Required: At least 2 years experience in an office setting (will consider recent college graduates with less experience); prior experience with pricing or contracts would be ideal


- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to perform V-Look-ups, create macros, and perform detailed spreadsheet analysis to ensure customer pricing integrity.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

- Detailed oriented with excellent follow-up skills.

- Strong problem solving skills, ability to muli-task, and contribute in a team environment.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

- Customer focused

Preferred Background:

- Bachelor's degree preferred

- Experience in a customer support role.

- Microsoft Excel, Word, Access knowledge a plus with the ability to create queries.
