Position Summary:

The Sales professional meets sales and/or profitability objectives, typically from new clients or accounts. Sales professionals identify marketplace opportunities, prospect, engage new clients, develop proposals, and manage the contract process.


* Achieve tight deadlines meet quarterly and annual sales quotas.

* Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market.

* Consulting with clients on needs and business objectives.

* Developing innovative proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations.

* Making actionable and insightful recommendations for products or services.

* Resolving sales or delivery issues.

* Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.

* Expedites the resolution of customers and complaints.

* Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management and accounting.

* Strong listening, presentation and business networking skills.

* Attention to detail.

* Strong influencing skills, superior business acumen and negotiation skills.

* Extensive beef industry knowledge and cuts.

* Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

* Ability to travel.

* Ability to work flexible schedule.


* 2 or more year's meat sales.


* Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences-MBA preferred or equivalent experience
