Job Description:

We are seeking an Information Specialist II for a very important client.

Primary Function:

Primarily responsible for accurately processing reports and performing reconciliation activities after case completion within the specified timeframes to ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory guidelines.

Major responsibilities:

- Handling documentation for the affiliate query process.

- Performing reconciliation tasks for Clinical and Postmarketing (Medical Information, Product Complaints, and third party vendor) cases

- Supports expedited reporting process:

o Performing Esker related tasks.

o Generating Expedite Packets

o Uploading and maintaining expedite tracking reports.

- Responsible for general case data reports running for MSS department:

o Monitoring for email and fax failures with the eDistribution system and manually distributing CIOMS reports when needed. Distributing RAVE and INFORM reports. o Generating and processing required ad hoc reports.

- Performs communication activities for adverse event reporting:

o Creating and sending other drug company letter notifications. Generating and tracking follow-up e-mail and letter queries.

o Submitting literature articles to the FDA

o Maintaining Clinical and Post-Marketing Offline eDistribution matrixes. Effectively prioritizes and manages own time to complete assigned tasks

- Demonstrates functional and technical knowledge and skills to perform the job at a high level of accomplishment Clearly and succinctly communicates information to customers verbally and in writing

- Demonstrates high level of customer service to both internal and external customers

- Utilizes judgment skills to identify issues that impact the workflow Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions

- Identifies gaps and areas that need improvement and communicates and/or implements recommendations/changes


The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Candidates must possess 1-2 years experience or application/environment specific knowledge to perform tasks where large quantities of information, data or documents need to be maintained or manipulated in a structured database, filing system or associated reporting/holding format.
