The selected candidate will be responsible for working with technical staff to develop, edit, and maintain materials in support of a $40+M Information Technology project.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Job duties consist of meeting with IT staff and end users to gather data for user manuals and project deliverables, and translating technology solutions into user-friendly documentation for the non-technical end-user audience while conforming to project level content, design, and quality assurance standards. You will be assisting a high-energy team in implementing an end-to-end cloud-based, integrated solution for our client in a role with very high potential for career growth.

- Participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions to gain a working knowledge of solution requirements

- Use Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Visio, etc.) to create project and end-user documentation in support of the project.

- Assist team leads and business analysts in documenting business and technical requirements for non-technical end user base

- Work with the technical team to translate requirements and use cases to effective design documents for downstream development activity

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

- Minimum 3 years in Information Technology roles with demonstrated working knowledge of IT concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

- Demonstrated ability to translate technical IT concepts into non-technical language for consumption by a non-technical user audience.

- Ability to write clearly and concisely in the English language, including proficiency in spelling, punctuation, word usage and grammar

- Working familiarity with MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a large team environment

- Prior experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) preferred, but not required

- Prior experience with additional software tools such as Adobe Acrobat Professional; Adobe Photoshop, SharePoint and/or MS Outlook is a plus
