Job Duties, including but not limited to:

-Provide services for Tactical Athletes within the ATC’s scope of practice as defined by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).

-Design and fabricate protective pads, equipment, and braces to help prevent and treat injuries, including the use of taping techniques within the ATC’s scope of practice.

-Provide instruction and guidance to help prevent injuries and maximize SOF Tactical Athlete physical conditioning and performance.

-Participate in periodic meetings to review the care provided to patients and identifies opportunities for Should a meeting occur outside of regular working hours, the ATC is responsible for reviewing the information disseminated in the meeting.

-Conduct equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the patient care stays current with the provision of care.

-Ensure safe and effective operations equipment used for patient care and contribute to a safe working environment

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of the following:

-Possess a master degree in Athletic Training

Experience: Candidates must have the following experience:

-Possess at least five years of demonstrated experience

-Demonstrate experience with elite level athlete

-Possess experience and certification in the field of strength and conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (or equivalent) is strongly recommended, but not required.


-National Background Investigation

-Must be authorized to work in the US

- Must have reliable transportation to and from work site

License/Certification and Training:

-Possess a NATABOC certification

-Possess and maintain current certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), or shall obtain the certification within the first year of employment.


-Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM; hours may be flexible to meet mission requirements.

-No weekends or holidays required
