The Affiliate Program Manager will be responsible for the evolution and growth of all aspects of the
company Sports affiliate program. The candidate will shape our affiliate channel strategy and be
accountable for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing affiliates in order
to attain channel targets. The Affiliate Manager will be passionate about gaming, growing the
business and should be accustomed to interfacing with key decision makers.
Essential Job Functions / Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Development and implementation of the company Sports affiliate strategy to deliver the
volume, activity and growth KPIs
Responsible for the overall management of the affiliate partner base, ensuring affiliate
partners maximizing brand presence.
Evaluate the competitive nature of the company Sports affiliate program within the market
landscape and recommend opportunities to improve the affiliate offering.
Identification and sourcing of new affiliate relationships, through existing network of contacts
and affiliate prospecting
Communicating with key affiliate base regularly via phone, Skype, email and face-to- face to
retain the relationship, maintain performance and create opportunities for growth
Constantly looking to identify creative ways to communicate the company Sports USP’s to
our affiliate partners.
Establish strong connections within the online marketing and affiliate industry
Analysing and reporting on weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual account performance of
the channel and affiliates.
Grow and manage the affiliate team, including account managers/coordinators/admins.
Identifying affiliates within assigned groups or regions and take appropriate steps to reactivate them
Ensure that the affiliate programme’s terms and conditions are adhered to
Skills and Qualifications:
Have proven experience in managing and growing an affiliate programme, preferably in the online gaming vertical
Previous experience managing and optimizing a large affiliate’s base, ensuring segmentation strategies are in place for communication and management.
Be commercially and analytically minded, with strong financial evaluation and performance marketing management skills
Ability to effectively present to and build relationships with key decision makers in one-on- one meetings and networking events
Be able to adapt to the demands of working in a rapidly changing environment
Have strong verbal, written communication, presentation skills
Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum 4+ years of Affiliate Program management experience, within an online gaming environment is strongly preferred
Exposure to industry standard Affiliate Management Systems (Income Access, Netrefer)
Strong passion for sports/gaming would be an asset
Proven experience managing a team of account managers/admins
Experience with all traditional affiliate payment structures (revenue share, CPA, CPC, etc.)
