Payroll Coordinator – Murrieta, CA

We have a new employment opportunity for a Payroll Coordinator with healthcare experience to direct payroll activities and assist with human resource / AP functions for a prestigious Long-term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC / SNF) located in Murrieta, California.

Payroll Coordinator responsibilities:

• Completing payroll promptly and accurately in a fast-paced nursing home environment

• Auditing payroll summaries, labor and wage reports, and payroll operations

• Ensuring compliance with all applicable government regulations and requirements

• Some A/P duties

• Directing the audit of payroll summaries, bank balances, labor and wage reports, and payroll operations

• Adding new employees and processing terminations

• Managing workload, setting priorities, and allocating resources

• Applying compensation and benefits policies in compliance with regulatory requirements

Payroll Coordinator Requirements:

• Inpatient Healthcare payroll experience

• Accounts Payable experience

• Experience with Microsoft business programs and essential payroll software applications

• Experience with invoice data entry, accounts payable, and employee expense reports

• Proficiency in Kronos preferred

• Solid understanding of federal and state tax requirement and wage and hour laws
