Housekeeper – Murrieta, CA

We have a new employment opportunity for a Nursing Home Housekeeper with a well-respected Long-Term Care Facility located in Murrieta, California. This position requires a Housekeeper with attention to detail and a desire to provide quality service for skilled nursing facility / long-term care facility (LTC / SNF) residents. We are looking for a Housekeeper who is energetic, reliable, and a team player.

Housekeeper primary responsibilities include:

• Follows written policies and procedures of the Housekeeping Department under the direction of the supervisor.

• Observes proper infection control standards.

• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning and disinfecting techniques.

• Performs janitorial and minor maintenance tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas.

• Empties and cleans wastebaskets and disposes of waste and trash.

• Replenishes supplies, such as toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, and cleaning materials.

• Maintains equipment used in performing duties.

• Keeps equipment clean and well organized.

• Performs laundry duty when needed.

• Reports any observations concerning structural and equipment wear defects and malfunctioning to the Supervisor.

• Maintains the confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information.

• Performs additional duties as specified by the Supervisor or Administrator.

Housekeeper requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior professional housekeeping experience
