Join a team of professionals with this leading CPG company. They are seeking an iSeries Programmer Analyst III for their Jackson, TN location.

Must Have:

• High School Diploma/GED required;

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and/or equivalent work experience preferred;

• Extensive knowledge of software development life cycle;

• Experience in handling application architectural and design considerations such as performance, scalability, re-usability and flexibility;

• Working knowledge of ERP Systems. MacPac strongly preferred. JED Edwards Enterprise One also valued;

• Proficiency with ILE RPG, Free Form RPG, SQL, DB2 Databases;

• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and prolonged concurrent projects of at least 10-12 months;

• Demonstrated expertise in multi-tiered application development, and familiarity with developing large scale and volume-based applications;

• Ability to work through complex issues and identify required interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

• The iSeries Programmer Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, writing, modifying and implementing software solutions consisting of applications and/or components;

• Develop and/or provide software solutions to the business in accordance with established specifications, and considerate of IT priorities;

• Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement;

• Maintain existing software systems, identify and correct software defects;

• Develop work instructions, procedures, and coding standards as needed;

• Consult closely with team lead and business management related to projects, milestones & tasks ;

• Maintain a customer-oriented mindset, and professional demeanor at all times;
