The Role

• Will provide best in class customer service to the broader Recruiting organization.

• As a subject matter expert, the Recruitment assistant will play a key role in managing onboarding, the background check process and special projects.

• You’ll work with team members who prioritize exceptional service to recruiters, hiring managers and to each other, with timely follow-up and follow-through, thoroughness in your work product and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct background checks through multiple vendors and ensure results are returned, reviewed, and reported to appropriate stakeholders

• Responsible for accurately entering data into internal systems on a daily basis

• Review drug screen and background results from vendors and update appropriate systems

• Escalate issues and exception requests to upper management

• Manage a high volume of requests and ensure Service Level Agreements are met

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of data

• Maintain strict confidence of employee information and personal data

• Assess, recommend and implement process improvements as needed

• Prepare/draft offer letters on an as needed basis

• Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external compliance teams

• Support various projects on an as needed basis to meet business demands

Requirements

• Four year degree in a related field or relevant experience and 1-4 years of recruiting coordinator, sales support, or entry level recruiting experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company

• Effective problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills

• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail

• Competent skills to produce accurate and well-presented reports, tables and spreadsheets

• Thrives in a fast paced environment

• Polished and professional demeanor with effective interpersonal skills

• Able to juggle multiple priorities at once while remaining calm

• Must be a team player and encompass company values

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

• Excellent customer service skills required

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookups and pivot tables), Word, and Outlook

• Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets

• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background search
