Job Title: Component Control and Automation Systems Architect

Location: East Hartford, CT

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Note: Required In Person Interview

• Overall 5-10+ Yrs. exp in the Shop floor implementing Control & Automation in Green Field and Brown Field rollouts preferably in Aerospace & Defense or Automotive or Discrete Industry experience.

• Build and direct a team of Automation Engineers to help support client requests

• Should have experience in the Industry standards such as ISA 95 and experience in working with L0, L1, L2 and L3 layers of ISA 95 and experience in Integration of systems across these layers.

• Hands on experience in executing Control & Automation projects for discrete plants – At least 2 full end to end implementation experience.

• Required – Allen Bradley / GE / Siemens / Mitsubishi / Omron / Honeywell PLC hardware selection and PLC Programming Concepts – experience in At least 3 of the major Automation OEM vendors.

• Experience in DCS / SCADA / HMI Programing

• Experience in understanding the Control Network Architecture

• Experience in OPC DA / OPC UA such as – Kepware or Matrikon

• Experience in Control System Connectivity protocols such as – Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet IP etc.…

• Good understanding of PLC programming. Should be able to assess various inputs by customer, suggest changes and get approval from customer

• Desirable – Knowledge of plant Historians and reporting tools

• Desirable – Knowledge of Instrument selection & Sizing and preparation of Control documents

• Desirable – Knowledge of MES / MOM

• Outstanding verbal and written communications skills

Educational Qualifications:

BS or greater
