Our customer located in Novi, MI is seeking a Senior Cost Accounting Specialist for a direct hire position.

The salary range for this position is dependent upon level of experience.

General Summary

Manage the Global Development System (Job Request Process) to ensure compliance and fulfill requirements necessary for full recovery of R&D spending.

Essential Job Functions

• Receive, review, and process Global Development documents.

• Prepare, review, and analyze ED&D man-hours and expenditures.

• Coordinate, assimilate, and prepare annual project and operational budgets.

• Coordinate quarterly recovery from Job Requests.

• Track and summarize Cost vs. Revenue (Break-even).

• Create and maintain Oracle / Task Codes.

• Fiscal job data assimilation for APA calculation.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Cost Management and General Ledger Accounting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).

• Requires high level of proficiency in MS Excel and MS Access (database management).

• ERP System experience (Oracle preferred).
