Description:

• The Power and Signal Distribution (PASD) Release Engineer will be responsible for the design and release of wiring harness assemblies and related components.

• The PASD Release Engineer will also coordinate drawing creation CAD release in TeamCenter and validation of released components in the vehicle and component environments.

• Support manufacturing facilities for entire life cycle and manage a supplier engineering support team. Manage large amounts of data and be very comfortable working in corporate computer systems.

Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Materials /Chemical/ Civil/ Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited university

Release or manufacturing experience of stampings or injection molded parts

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university

Experienced CAD design, manufacturing process management and product data management can be integrated and structured in a relational database

TeamCenter and/or UG NX experience

Experience in progressive die stamping, laser cut, plastic molding, mold flow, and overall vehicle knowledge.

Position related experience in design or engineering.

Ability to multitask by handling several assignments concurrently.

The PASD Bracket Release Engineer will be responsible for the design, releasing and all technical aspects of multi-carline Bracket & Heater Cord components.

Travel and Driving Requirements:

Will be required to drive a company car. Valid driver’s license is required as well as a clean driving record.

Will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
