Our client is seeking an experienced leader to provide senior expertise, thought leadership and lead business intelligence and business operations activities. Reporting to the VP Strategy, Analytics, and Insights, candidate will lead a national technical team. The Head of Business Intelligence is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership and managerial skills, superior analytical/quantitative skills, effective problem-solving abilities, adept business knowledge and great communication skills. The leader will:

Transform the function, elevating the reach and impact of the function throughout the organization

Ramp up quickly on our client’s business and complex environment

Provide strategic leadership, guidance and direction for business intelligence capabilities

Articulate with senior executives but also more operational ones, understand their needs and provide a solution, no “order taking” - able to respond, react, push back, provide alternatives


The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical, leadership and organization persuasion skills. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple functions, establishing and delivering optimal aligned strategies, metrics and KPIs that support the growth of the business.

Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.

10 + years of hands on leadership roles

Strategy consulting experience strongly preferred

Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships across multiple functions

Strategic thinker able to gain a quick understanding of the product lines and business

Strong analytical, reporting and financial modeling skills

Strong business acumen, project management, planning and organizational skills including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Proven ability to lead through influence and drive change

Experience managing highly-talented individuals in both direct and matrixed reporting structures.
