Job Title: Threader Operator Trainee
Job Description
This entry-level role focuses on learning how to set up and operate a CNC threading machine in a production environment. You will receive hands-on training to feed material into the machine, run the equipment safely and efficiently, and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assist with setting up CNC threading machines under the guidance of experienced operators.
Feed raw material into CNC machines and monitor the production process to ensure consistent output.
Operate CNC threading and related production machines in accordance with established procedures.
Inspect and examine final products to verify quality, dimensions, and conformance to specifications.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area on the production floor.
Support continuous production by reporting issues, abnormalities, or equipment concerns to supervision.
Work overtime as needed, including staying later on weekdays and occasionally working Saturdays to meet production demands.Essential Skills
At least 1+ years of experience as a CNC operator or in CNC machine operation.
Familiarity with CNC operation in a production manufacturing environment.
Basic understanding of CNC lathes and production machines.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail for examining and verifying final products.
Willingness to learn and follow standardized machine setup and operating procedures.
Reliability and flexibility to work 1st shift and overtime as required.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience with threading operations is a plus.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production floor environment.
Comfort working around CNC lathes and other production machinery.

Work Environment
This position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment on the production floor, working around CNC threading machines, CNC lathes, and other production equipment. The role follows a 1st shift schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the expectation to stay later for overtime and to work some Saturdays as production needs arise. You will spend most of the day on your feet, handling materials and operating machinery in a fast-paced, industrial setting.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr.
