"Physician to function as our Psychiatrist. We have 3 family practice sites that include medical, dental and behavioral health services and serve individuals and families of all ages. We also have two School-Based Health Centers. No one seeking care at any of our sites will ever be denied access to services due to inability to pay. We offer a discounted/sliding fee scale based on family size and income. You may apply for a discount at the front desk when you arrive at any of our sites. We also offer translation services, outreach and enrollment services and health education. We are governed by a Board of Directors where more than 50% of the Board are also patients.

We are a member of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers and the National Association of Community Health Centers. Job Description: This position is responsible for providing psychopharmacology for patients at all NSCH sites. In addition, the psychiatrist will also provide direct clinical services to patients enrolled in our MAT program. In addition, the psychiatrist will also provide consultation, and training on psychopharmacology services to staff medical providers. The psychiatrist will also work with the Director of Behavioral Health around program development. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Board certified in Psychiatry in the Commonwealth of MA. Doctor of medicine degree and psychiatric training; specific knowledge of prescribing psychiatric medications and their possible side effects alone and with other medications: Knowledge of DSM V manual for classification of mental disorders. Interest/Experience in Addiction Medicine. Dual diagnosis experience is a must. Strong commitment and experience in community Psychiatry. Psychiatrist will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary team and providers in a primary care setting. Commitment to providing culturally competent services for patients depending on their individual needs and preferences. Commitment to attend CEU’s relevant to current practice and patient population.
