CNC Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Pay rate: $20-22/Hr.

Location: Houston, TX

Hours: Monday-Friday 2PM – 11PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The CNC Machine Operator will operate advanced metal-cutting and machining equipment to produce high-quality alloy products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines, and metal-cutting equipment according to specifications and production schedules.

Set up machines, load materials, and monitor machine operations for accuracy and efficiency.

Perform measurements and inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Troubleshoot machine issues and make minor program or setup adjustments as needed.

Maintain cutting alignment and ensure products meet quality standards.

Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.

Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.

Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

Previous CNC machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.

Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Experience using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to perform decimal-to-fraction conversions.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
