Leading Hospital in Saudi Arabia is urgently looking for Passionate, Dedicated and Accomplished – Nurse Executive/Leader for their Nursing Affairs/Administration Unit.
In your new Executive Role as a Deputy Executive Director - Nursing Affairs you will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of all clinical programs within Nursing Affairs; responsible for providing direct leadership to selected programs and initiatives; Responsible for strategic and operational planning, budget development and monitoring, manpower planning, personnel management and recruitment, achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators, patient satisfaction and a positive work environment. Unique experience to be working in the KSA in a prestigious international standard Hospital, in an esteemed Nurse Executive/Leader Role as a DEDNA/Deputy Executive Director- Nursing Affairs, alongside a team of internationally qualified and experienced healthcare professionals- western expatriates. -Western educated, trained and experienced RN with valid professional registration and license from country of origin;
-Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent Nursing Degree not less than 3 years study duration from accredited program;
-MSN/Master Degree in Nursing or- Nursing Administration, Health Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospital or Business Administration- or related;
- At least 10 years of progressive Nursing management/administrative experience in tertiary care facility –whereas current/previous DON/Directorial Nursing experience- or having worked in a similar Executive Leadership Nursing Role;
- Previous experience in Magnet organization desirable;
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, organizational skills, strong critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills, nursing/leadership/management skills along with prioritizing responsibilities;
- Passion, Dedication, Respect, Empathy, Compassion, Flexibility, Patience, Attention to detail, Energetic, Quick timely response, Great responsibility and accountability, Ability to multitask and to handle stressful situations, to cope to different situations are only some of the qualities that the DEDNA needs to possess;
- Previous experience in international nursing- advantage;
-Arabic Language-an advantage;
The ideal candidate in order to meet the challenges of this DEDNA position-in order to oversee the operational management of all clinical programs within Nursing Affairs will need to possess the followings:
-Thorough and extensive knowledge of Hospitals’ operating procedures, standards and regulations;
-Thorough and extensive knowledge in developing, assessing, evaluating nursing service objectives, clinical policies and procedures; and directing the implementation of these objectives and of changes when appropriate;
-Thorough/extensive knowledge in developing strategic, tactical and operational planning - Hospital/Healthcare Facility;
-Thorough/extensive knowledge in creating, developing and monitoring- Hospital/Healthcare Facility budgets;
-Thorough/extensive knowledge in designing and managing patient care; achieving patient satisfaction and a great positive work environment;
-Thorough/extensive knowledge in manpower planning, personnel management and recruitment; achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators;
-Excellent English language skills;
-Excellent clinical knowledge and skills;
-Excellent organizational, management and leadership skills;
-Excellent administrative nursing skills along with prioritizing and delegating responsibilities;
-Exceptional peoples skills; Great set of social skills-communication and interpersonal skills;
-Excellent critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills;
