Understand the business needs of HVAC/R contractors and ask quality questions to determine their buying needs.

Use consultative, suggestive selling approach to educate customers on services and products.

Promote contractor training programs, mobile solutions and marketing/sales promotions to customers.

Optimize call routes to maximize time in the field and overall efficiency.

Compiles lists of prospective customers and conduct cold calls.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree preferred

2. Minimum (5) years experience in outside sales.

3. Proficient with computers and technology.

4.Technical diploma, mechanical aptitude and industry experience a plus, but not required.

5. HVAC knowledge

6. Demonstrated excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to prioritize workload.

7. Ability to identify and react professionally to the behavior and emotions of customers.

8. Ability to establish rapport easily and possess good listening skills.

9. Insight to ask quality questions to uncover customers'/prospects' goals, objectives, concerns and hesitations to fully determine their situation and buying needs.

10. Must be willing to learn and keep current with the latest developments and technology in the industry.

11. Ability to work with others in a team-based environment.

12. HVAC Certification

13. EPA Certified,

14. R-410A Equipment Certification will be a plus.

15. NATE Certified
