Summary of Responisbilities

-Record daily financial transactions; post information to appropriate Quickbooks software files and reconcile accounts.

-Make deposits into bank accounts and perform monthly reconciliations.

-Input new vendor and customer data to Quickbooks and prepare vendor payments.

-Coordinate employee document administration and payroll administration with a third-party provider.

-Prepare payroll and sales tax returns.

-Assist the tax accountant by providing information required for preparation of annual and quarterly tax documents.

-Other general office responsibilities include: processing mail, data entry, filing and record keeping, and other duties as assigned.

-Responsibilities may include running business errands (e.g. to local post office).

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

-Associates degree or equivalent.

-Prior experience in accounting and working with Quickbooks.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

-Professional demeanor and ability to handle matters confidentially.

-High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

-Ability to multi-task, manage time, and balance conflicting priorities.

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and to work well with teams based in other locations.
