• Basic generalist functions including recruiting, employee relations, new hire orientations, benefit administration, policy development and implementation, etc.;

• Following current EEO and ADA hiring guidelines;

• Participating in employee conferences, performance reviews, disciplinary sessions, etc.;

• Managing production and employee relations challenges in a consistent manner along with the management team;

• Assisting with the creation and implementation of supervisory development programs;

• Developing and initiating process improvements as it relates to HR and plant procedures;

• Preparing reports for HR management.

Education: 4-year degree required; Human Resources or Business disciplines preferred.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a generalist function;

• Experience in a manufacturing environment;

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;

• Skills in problem analysis and conflict resolution;

• PHR or SPHR certification is desired;

• Experience working with PeopleSoft or Kronos is a plus.
