Job Description

In an effort to become an increasingly data-driven organization, our client is implementing a centralized CRM (Salesforce.com) and is in need an experienced CRM Manager to execute the implementation and roll-out of the system throughout their organization. This includes leading the day-to-day administration, configuration and data management on the Salesforce.com platform.

The CRM Manager will provide technical support and training for the Salesforce.com platform, and other integrated systems (Pardot). The position will provide tactical support for any issues and bugs that are reported on the Salesforce and Pardot platforms. It will assist in developing training materials and system documentation.

This high visibility position will collaborate with key business and technology team stakeholders to prioritize, scope, design and deliver enhancements in Salesforce applications. This is a hands-on technical role which requires performing configuration, supporting business analysts and marketing managers, and providing oversight of CRM data management and governance.

This is a direct hire position. We are not able to sponsor.

Responsibilities

Daily administration and support of Salesforce service cloud, including configuration updates to security, access control, sharing rules, profiles, roles, custom objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validation rules

Collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure configuration supports business requirements and minimizes negative business impact on operations

Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies and application configuration

Overall database management including maintaining integrity of database and finding additional resources to supplement existing database

Training new users on system fundamentals and Salesforce best practices

Construct and modify reports and dashboards

Identify system inefficiencies/gaps, troubleshoot operational issues and explore opportunities for updates; continually seek ways to simplify, optimize and automate business processes

Stay current on new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by documenting test plans and test cases

Perform administration tasks such as data manipulation, loading, merging and list management

Ensure proper integration and functionality with Pardot (Marketing Automation System)

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator, preferably in a large, global organization

Strong understanding of relational databases

Certified Salesforce Administrator or ability to obtain within 3 months of starting in this role

Advanced Excel and proficient with ETL and other data management tools

Expert knowledge and configuration and support experience of Salesforce administration functions including profiles, roles, sharing rules, groups, permissions, security, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, data management, reporting, dashboards, workflow (to accomplish process automation), triggers and assignment rules, self-service functionality

Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality

Experience managing reporting, metrics and dashboards for various teams

Experience managing support tickets and help desk queues

Previous experience working with marketing, sales and/or operations teams

Experience working with integrations with external systems

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and organize work to meet deadlines and multiple requests

Ability to adapt quickly to change and handle ambiguity

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, internal customers, leadership staff and external vendors, strong customer service orientation

Strong writing skills, ability to communicate technical issues to individuals with differing knowledge levels and technical ability

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (in particular PPT)

DESIRED Skills:

Additional Salesforce certifications, especially Advanced Administrator, Force.com Developer and Platform App Builder

Marketing Automation System experience, preferably Pardot

Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools

Experience with dev, partial and full sandboxes to manage change revisions

Experience with QA and regression testing

Experience in APEX and SOQL

Experience configuring interfaces in to / out of Salesforce.com using APIs

Intermediate HTML

Experience with data analysis and visualization tools

Experience supporting global organizations with 500+ users
