Position Overview:

Trucks are how goods get to market. Every single person benefits when they are on the road and will for the foreseeable future. Commercial truck sales can make for a stable and lucrative career, especially when paired with an organization like ours who provides each employee with an opportunity to collaborate, learn, innovate, make an impact and belong.

Performance Objectives:

Build and maintain a customer base through daily cold calling and updating of information in a CRM.

Stay up to date on latest trends and technologies in both the industry and local market to gain the competitive edge.

Complete one or more formal sales training available through the organization’s employee development department.

Satisfy their customer’s individual and business needs through the solution-based selling of not only equipment but also direction towards the organization’s other offerings including maintenance services, repair services, leasing, rental and financing.

Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Associates or Bachelor degree preferred

Ability to hold technical conversations with independent owner/operators, business owners,

transportation managers and municipality officials.

Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Gmail preferred

Mechanical understanding enough to learn specifications of complex, customizable equipment.

Valid driver’s license required

CDL required, or willingness and ability to obtain.
