This North Carolina community, less than 2 hours from Raleigh, seeks a Board Certified Hematology Oncology Medical Director for an employed opportunity. Must be fellowship trained Oncologist. You will be the medical Director for both the Inpatient Oncology Department as well as Outpatient departments – Infusion and Clinics. The group also has Gamma Knife, a Cyber Knife and a full spectrum of radiology services.

This is an incentive based productivity and quality initiative opportunity. The Cancer Center is expanding to a multi-tower center that will include nearly 100 inpatient rooms 55+ infusion areas and multidisciplinary clinics, and numerous vaults. The medical staff will include Medical, Surgical and Radiation Oncologists, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants among other medical staff.

You must have at least 10 years experience as a clinical provider. This position will be 50% clinical and 50% administrative and you will interact with service line directors (Oncology) and physicians to safeguard continuity of care. You will also be responsible for the training of new staff.

This Medical Center serves as a teaching hospital for a School of Medicine. The Medical Center is a fully accredited JCAHO hospital.
