Seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for facility in Chula Vista for As-Needed/On-Call Shifts

We are seeking CNAs who can work on a moments notice OR on a scheduled basis.

DUTIES:

*Provide care and tend to physical needs of the patients according to the patient care plan;

*Perform and document rounds of patient receiving care and report changes in patient

condition to the Nurse;

*Obtain specimens for diagnostic testing;

*Complete all required documentation of patient care, provide written and/or oral reports;

*Clean, maintain, and check equipment;

*Shall wear an identification badge at all times while on grounds of the Veteran's Home.

Provider shall ensure resident medical record information is maintained as ""CONFIDENTIAL"" and shall be held in trust and confidence. Information shall be used only for the purposes contemplated under this contract.

Provider shall perform their assigned tasks, functions, and responsibilities in a professional, ethical, and diligent manner in accordance with state and federal laws, regulations, rules, and policies as well as Home medical standards, policies, and procedures which include compliance with the requirements of Title 22, California Code of Regulations (CCR) for long term care.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE 12 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE WITHIN THE LAST 3 YEARS IN A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE INSTITUTION -private home health is NOT acceptable.

Clinical competencies must be current and provided to the Home prior to the staff being assigned.

Must be able to effectively communicate in the English language- understand, read, write and speak.

Must have CNA license in State of California

Must have BLS
