A Construction Supervisor is responsible for the planning, organization and control of our projects from inception to completion.
In addition, a construction supervisor is responsible for hiring and supervising construction workers, completing quality inspections and reports, and making sure the project runs according to schedule.
Selects, trains, and supervises all employees on the project
Implements project plans, timelines, and budget
Prevents any fines or interruptions by keeping up-to-date with all codes
Monitors progress of project and its budget, making corrective actions where necessary
Approves projects after conducting inspections at each phase
Maintains a secure and safe working environment for employees and surrounding community
Continuously learns about new construction practices and participates in educational opportunities whenever possible
- Experience managing a construction site
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to prioritize and multitask
- An extreme attention to every detail
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Excellent managerial skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to mediate disputes
- Ability to refocus if project falls behind schedule
