Responsible in ensuring all activities related to purchasing are conducted efficiently, effectively, and timely.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Canvass and purchase supplies, equipment and service as required by the different department;
2. Provides timely update and progress reports for all orders;
3. Handles day-to-day purchasing coordination;
4. Search for possible supplier, negotiate the price, warranty terms, payment terms and other related details;
5. Processes and sends purchase orders and dispatch advise to the supplier;
6. Assist in the thorough check/search of qualified suppliers and evaluate capabilities;
7. Prepare all related purchasing reports as scheduled;
8. Ensure that all Purchasing documents, database records are complete, updated, accurate and proper safekeeping implemented;
9. Prepare & control sales quotation;
10. Ensure that internal and external customers’ request are attended to promptly;
11. Performs other jobs that may be required/assigned from time to time.
Education: BS degree Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related equivalent field.
Experience: At least one (1) year of actual experience in the position or related job.
Training: Training in procurement.
Special Skills/Aptitudes: Proficient in work related computer applications.
