We are seeking a highly motivated Accountant Assistant to join our team. The Accountant Assistant position is a full-time employment.

Essential Job Duties:

Manage general accounts payable functions including coding and matching invoices, issuing cheques, recording expenses in accordance with regulatory standards, depositing vendors’ cheques to the bank

Manage general accounts receivable functions including creating invoices in ERP system, insure timely collection of outstanding amounts, process all types of customer payments

Prepare period ending accruals

Prepare accounts and bank reconciliations

Analyze expense accounts

Maintain fixed asset tracking

Complete other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required

Minimum Requirements:


Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to work in Excel at an intermediate level

Valid driver’s license

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all data entry

Enthusiastic, energetic and self-motivated

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment

Education Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years in similar Accounting role, with relevant education/training
