This position is concerned with providing members the highest level of service available in an efficient and courteous manner. Perform a wide variety of member services such as opening new checking, savings, and certificate accounts; handling transactions and answering questions concerning services provided by the Credit Union. Cross sell The Golden 1 products and services while cognizant of sales and referral goals.


Communicate and interact with members to gather information, determine approval or denial of membership, identify their financial needs, cross-sell products and services or refer member to appropriate area, as needed.

Perform the necessary procedures to establish all types of Credit Union accounts and related products and services.

Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws appropriate to the position.

Identify, investigate, and resolve member concerns.

Perform procedural action to issue or replace ATM cards.

Update and maintain proper account information.

Maintain a current working knowledge of Golden 1 account policies and procedures.

Prepare and process member request forms, information and account closures.

Set up and audit new accounts documents to ensure proper procedural compliance, accuracy, and authenticity.

Assist in staffing teller and/or new account areas as required; may occasionally be requested to fill in at another branch location.

Proactively make outbound sales calls and follow up calls to members.

Assist other staff in completion of daily activities.
