JOB DETAILS: HR Beyond Limits is hiring a Shop Attendant responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet.

The role requires a proactive, trustworthy, and energetic individual capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high customer volumes.

Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner and assist them with product selection.

Actively promote and upsell products and ongoing promotions to meet daily sales targets.

Provide accurate information on product pricing, availability, and offers.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and escalate when necessary.

Cash Handling & Transactions Operate the cash register/POS system accurately and efficiently.

Receive payments (cash, mobile money, or other approved methods) and issue receipts.

Ensure all sales are properly recorded.

Balance cash at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies immediately.

Stock Management Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and well-organized at all times.

Receive, check, and properly store deliveries.

Monitor stock levels and report low stock, damages, or expiries.

Participate in regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.

Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO – First In, First Out), especially for food products.

Store Operations & Hygiene Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the shop, including display areas and storage spaces.

Adhere to basic food safety and hygiene standards when handling products.

Ensure the store environment is safe, welcoming, and aligned with brand standards.

Support opening and closing procedures of the shop.

Administrative Support Maintain simple daily records of sales and stock movements as required.

Follow company procedures, internal controls, and reporting guidelines.

Key Skills and Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Sales-oriented with ability to upsell products High level of honesty and integrity Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and work under pressure Customer-focused with a positive attitude Qualifications and Requirements Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.

Previous experience in retail, FMCG, or customer service is an added advantage.

Basic numeracy and familiarity with cash handling or POS systems.
