SUMMARY: Performs childcare duties at company’s on-site daycare center accurately, efficiently, and following all guidelines. Assists in development and execution of plans for the Daycare; performing routine and non-routine tasks.


Tasks may include but are not limited to:

•Set up and maintain an organized and clutter free environment safe for the children and staff

•Maintain staff/child ratio at all times

•Supervising children/infants at all times

•Caregiver responsible for submitting and implementing a weekly themed lesson plan

•Document daily children’s day on appropriate forms for age group

•Post class schedule and lesson plans for parents

•Staff must be able to tell the age of the youngest and oldest child in the room

•Staff must carry out proper child guidance

•Must use proper diapering procedures

•Repair or remove any safety hazards observed in the classroom or on the playground and inform the director

•Know the procedures to report child abuse and neglect

•Sanitizing toys and play areas, including playground

•Cleaning, laundry and maintaining a safe environment for children

•Assists teacher’s with classroom set-up

•Assisting with snack and lunch set-up

•Maintains ratio and helps break teacher’s for lunches and breaks

•Uses proper diapering procedures

•Staff must carry out proper child guidance

•Staff must be able to tell the age of the youngest and oldest child in the room

Perform other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

• Must have 2-5 years early childhood experience

• Candidate should have or be willing to obtain

• First Aid Certification

• CPR Certification

• CDA credential is preferred but not required.

Promotion to the next level is not automatic based on years of experience. Personnel are evaluated on proven competency, level of responsibility, and ability to work independently
