Performs MRI imaging procedures in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site radiologist. Completes and signs patient screening forms and explains testing procedures to the patient. Completes all exams in a timely manner, maintains work flow, and minimizes table time. Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy of the head, thorax and abdomen, physiology, and MRI terminology, practices and procedures. Be familiar with MRI coding systems. Responsible for magnetic field safety for MRI patients. Maintains patient log, equipment service log, delivery schedule log(s) and other related statistics. Maintains current permits to practice in all states in which services are performed. Performs QA/QC on magnet within ACR guidelines. Performs other duties as required. Must have graduated from a AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Min of six (6) months experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Current Florida state license as a General Radiographer RT (required)-MR (preferred)(MR certification within 1 years of hire required. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Certification: ARRT-(R) or (R)(MR). Competitive salary and benefits.
