Desktop Support Engineer- Taguig (Project based/Nightshift)

Job Description:

- Assist end user in providing information or to perform an operations when required (e.g. guide end user to change printer set up, change printer ribbon)

- Provide 1st level problem determination to hardware and software problem request.

- Determine whether the computer related problem is hardware, system software, off-the-shelf application software, LAN media, network connection, virus intrusion or usage.

- Provide 2nd level support to hardware and software problem request

- Resolve the problem if possible or escalate it to the respective Technical Support personnel/team by informing the helpdesk

- Swapping of machines when necessary while waiting for equipment servicing, if required

- Provide assistance to Asset Management Specialist with regard to asset checking

- Provide assistance in performing 1st level ping test for LAN and WAN issues

- Backing up of last known state of the desktop or laptop to be serviced

- Annual physical wall to wall inventory of end user assets- Submit activity reports


- Male/Female

- Graduate of any 4 year I.T Related course

- Flexible on work location and schedule (OT's, Shifting schedule, Morning and Night Shift/Graveyard shift)

- Willing to work in Taguig (shift is 8pm-5am)

- Willing to work as a project based employee (Renewable)

- Knowledgeable in PC troubleshooting, printer repair, Installation, Configuration of Laptop/Desktop, Configuration of Email, Networking and Cabling

-Must have background in ticketing system

- Good Communications skills

- With at least 1-2 yrs related experienceCan start Immediately

- 2 Contract positions available ( Contracts are renewable)
