Western Mountain Pacific Sales, located at 45 Fremont Street, Walnut Creek, CA, 94105 is currently hiring a Business Development Researcher - Walnut Creek, CA.

Responsibilities include: Research the business potential of new account leads and provide the Business Development team with key information about the account in order to generate opportunities more efficiently. With direction from the Director of Business Development, research accounts on the Small Business List, top account lists submitted by General Managers/Area Sales Leader, and opportunities from other key sites (e.g. Construction Wire, Business Journals). Additionally, ensure an accurate and timely lead/account turnover to members of the Business Development Team or sales executives from the Area Sales or Enterprise Sales Teams. Create, maintain and/or update databases, spreadsheets, and electronic filing systems related to Sales and Marketing activities. Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, sending outgoing faxes, delivering incoming faxes, copying, opening or distributing mail).

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
