We are seeking to fulfill a management position in our Vancouver office. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is interested in entering this field or for the experienced individual who believes they have the skills to grow the business. We have been in business 10+ years and are setting the new standard for Vancouver Courier Services. This will require a strong self-motivator with confidence in Grant writing, growing revenues by 50% per year, Managing 6 staff, and developing relationships with our clients. This busy individual will wear a variety of hats in this role and will enjoy being a vital part of the team’s success!

Responsibilities for this job will include but are not limited to:

Oversee day to day operations of couriers

Able to make quick judgement calls

Network to promote the company

Promote development and growth of the company with clients and potential clients

Possibility to assist with client and sales meetings

Oversee aspects of general office coordination.

Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.

Create and modify documents such as grant proposals, project bids, marketing materials, invoices, reports, memos, letters and financial statements using word processing, spreadsheet, database and/or other presentation software.

Collect and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies.

Can you meet deadlines, and be relied on as a vital part of the team?

Ability to work independently and take initiative, and to function effectively without continuous direction

The ideal candidate will have 2 year or more experience in transportation, human resource, marketing and also customer service. Professionalism, efficiency and accuracy will be essential. Organized and customer relationship management skills are definite plus. Fluent in English and have intermediate knowledge of MS Office is needed.
