Assistant Property Manager

Growing commercial real estate company seeks full time assistant property manager for onsite office in Morristown area. Assistant will report to the Director of Property Management and Property Management. Candidate must be extremely organized, have the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities:

Answer and respond to tenant requests by delegating onsite maintenance staff

Bid, prepare and track service contracts

Assist with monthly variance reports, budgets, forecasts and annual operating expense reconciliations

Code and enter invoices for payment

Follow up on tenant accounts receivable

Collect and track certificates of insurance for contractors and tenants

Lease administration and lease compliance

Create a positive office environment through interaction with tenants, maintenance staff, service vendors and partners

Coordinate tenant and marketing events

Office administration

Requirements:

Minimum of one to two years of related experience - real estate or accounting experience preferred

Proven track record of providing superior customer service

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Accounting software experience - MRI or Yardi preferred

Valid driver’s license and vehicle

BOMA RPA or FMA or similar designations preferred

Salary & bonus to commensurate with experience.
