Description:

The Facilities Coordinator maintains the buildings and grounds of multiple sites, including shop, lab and office space, and oversees the upkeep of equipment and supplies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create drawings and facility layouts for architectural rendering, using computer software

Schedule, oversee and inspect facility construction projects and modifications to insure compliance with established specifications

Schedule and supervise building equipment preventative maintenance and repairs, using established contractors

Responsible for general building maintenance, safety and cleanliness by engaging and overseeing outside contractors/personnel

Respond to after hours or late night emergency calls regarding facility equipment breakdowns or other emergencies

Maintain all inventories for supplies, furniture, parts, tools, and other various facility related items

Run errands for parts and supplies when necessary

Responsible for monitoring and approving all building and facility expenses

Maintain the corporate material storage database and coordinate the physical storage of these materials; implement retention strategies

Supports security tasks related to building access and ensures building security

Job Qualifications:

Experience working with hand and power tools

Valid driver’s license required

Prior building/grounds experience required, with contracting exposure strongly preferred.

Clean room and lab experience desired.

Requires US Citizenship, US Permanent Residency, or other status as a US Person
