We seek an entrepreneurial-minded visionary E-commerce Marketing Manager who can make a real difference in a growing company looking to be a trendsetter in Ruggedized Portable Computing.

The candidate will oversee the Ecommerce marketing strategies to provide oversight and direction to the organization's ECommerce efforts. This position would participate in the design and implementation of website marketing plans, develop and manage marketing tests and new programs including setting up and managing API products excel on market places such as Amazon, New Egg and eBay as well as shopping sites and networks such as price grabber, Biz Rate, shopping.com and others.

This key position is involved with developing an overall marketing plan while managing each task through execution. Execution of marketing collateral requires demonstrated experience in content/copy creation, editing, and layout skills. In addition, experience in online marketing such as SEO, PPC or SEM as well as PR and mediarelations is essential.

The candidate determines the marketing budget, the type of medium, and the most effective way to reach the target audience. The Ecommerce Marketing manager would work closely with the sales / business development manager to ensure efforts coincide and that revenue is realized. The candidate may also be responsible for managing an outside web developer or PR /Advertising agency.

The candidate would monitor and review website visitor access patterns and trends, adjusting strategies and plans as appropriate. The candidate works closely with design and content teams to ensure the websites meet marketing objectives, and tracks current and emerging e-commerce trends.

Also, the position would establish entrepreneurial goals for the company's electronic commerce, ensuring the website achieves marketing objectives and adheres to quality standards regarding appearance and content that would increase sales.

Some of the tasks of this position would include:

Monitoring and analyzing market trends

Studying competitors' products and services

Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability

Identifying target markets and products and developing strategies to communicate with prospects and customers for those markets.

Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets

Planning, managing and executing creation of promotional material

Liaising with other internal departments such as sales and web development to improve conversion rate.

Producing reports to monitor results and presenting findings and suggestions to the CEO and executive team

Attend sales, management and strategic planning meetings

Supporting and managing consultants or outsourced companies involved in web development, PR and marketing
