We are searching for our Client

VP Sales EMEA Could be based in London, Paris, Amsterdam

The GM/VP EMEA Local is responsible for the Local (small merchant business) across EMEA (9 countries). Responsible for generating $1B in Sales.

Example areas of responsibility include:

• Deliver $1B+ in sales with a high degree of confidence, hitting the numbers at both a country and an EMEA-wide level. Responsible for P&L, overall business strategy, best practice implementation between countries and the US

• Translate business priorities into operational tactics

• Build out the team to support EMEA needs, driving a high volume sales organization

• Create a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievements

• Must ensure high degrees of collaboration between P&L leaders, Dotted line and direct Product & Engineering, Marketing, Operations and Customer Service

• Identifying and acting on opportunities to significantly increase high value/high potential new business; deliver value-based solutions to internal and external partners/clients

• Workflow optimization and process improvement that maximize cost saving opportunities across the organization

• Applying data and analytic methods to optimize operating metrics and results

• Building winning cultures that encourages innovation that results in significantly enhanced business performance

• Establish motivating stretch objectives for team members that align with company objectives; encourages coaching and mentoring, focuses on the development needs of employees and ensures collaboration and teamwork; builds amazing teams

• Able to effectively balance efficiency improvements and placing bold bets on growth

• Establish go-to market strategies and rollout consistently to the teams

• Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals. Understand customer needs and adjust pitch / approach to better meet those needs

Key attributes:

• General Manager mindset

• 10-15 years of experience in ecommerce and/or general management; Breadth of experience is valuable, e.g. product, business strategy, marketing, etc. in terms of having a strong ecommerce foundation

• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to prioritize across numerous constituents; Strong influencing and leadership skills; effective cross-functional driver

• History of proactively determining problem areas, recommending plans of action, & delivering solutions successfully on a timely manner

• Proven track record of hiring key talent

• Ability to work independently to define and lead projects, and manage and influence cross-functional teams

• Experience working with merchants or suppliers

• Sense of urgency: ability to operate at our client, speed and work under tight deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience

• Analytical & strategic mindset – Proven experience performing quantitative and qualitative analysis

• Extensive travel required
