Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, analyze, keep track and execute off page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on Japanese sites.

• Build, monitor and update the company external sources

• Responsible for Social bookmarking, blog and forum commenting.

• Submission of PR articles to various sites Japanese sites tagging relevant brands and people.

• Source and implement high quality link strategies for our Japanese clients.

• Ensure high ranks at all times for our client sites through natural search on all search engines such as Yahoo.jp and Google.

• Work with the content teams to distribute quality content across the Internet.

• Undertake manual SEO link building technique.

• Live, breathe SEO link, plan and deliver SEO.

• Manage content distribution as well as document any new link prospects.

• Responsible in submitting links to web directories, article syndication websites, press release websites, bookmarking sites, blogs, online forums and other related media.

• Report web status and updates to all responsible marketing and technical people.

• Managing day-to-day social media campaigns and communities in Japanese on Mixi, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other emerging platforms

• Working with a team to develop innovative social media content

• Monitoring and responding on behalf of the brands

• Measuring and reporting social analytics

• Developing creative concepts and next level engagement ideas

• Managing daily paid social media buys

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or College Degree- Computer Science, Information and Technology, Computer Engineering or must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Advertising/Media, and/or Art/Design/Creative Multimedia. . Ideally the study should of also included focus on the Japanese market outlining the correct procedure to approach said market.

With excellent skills in:

• A demonstrated understanding of SEO link building and the core methods and principles of modern SEO and have an ability to create genuine and permanent links on Japanese networks.

• Must have creativity in link building –You will be required to provide examples of past achievements through content and other link building techniques.

• Must be able to perform link building activities manually - no spamming or use of automatic software

• Good research skills to ensure link relevancy and familiar with HTML and metadata

• Communicate effectively with project managers, designers, and other internal team members.

• Can work independently, be highly organized and possess the ability to work in a fast-paced, aggressive growth environment.

• Sales-oriented

• Must have hands on proven experience of social media management in the Japanese market

• Must have the ability to write clear, persuasive, and original copy in Japanese to be pushed out on all social media platforms

• Be able to actively participate in discussions across multiple Japanese social platforms and relevant sites

• Must have the ability to respond quickly to comments, questions, and/or tweets while providing superior customer service

• Must have the ability to manage, execute, and optimize social media reporting, analytics, and content calendars

• Must have the ability to work with multiple partners, influencers, vendors, app makers, and sponsors

• Must have the ability to consistently bring fresh and practical ideas that drive results for social media

• Must have the ability to stay up-to-date on new social media trends, platforms, and analytics

• Must have the ability to improve existing methods and workflow

Work experience:

• At least 1 to 3 years of work experience as Link Builder/Social Media Specialist or related work experiences and industry facing the Japanese market.
