Sands Wall Systems is seeking an experienced Commercial Firestop Foreman to lead crews on large-scale commercial projects across Sioux Falls and Rapid City, South Dakota, as well as Dickinson, ND. Most out-of-town projects follow a Monday–Thursday schedule, allowing team members to head home every Thursday and enjoy a long 3-day weekend.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise firestop and caulking crews on commercial job sites

• Install firestopping systems including sealants, joint systems, and penetration firestopping

• Read and interpret construction drawings, firestop details, and specifications

• Coordinate materials, manpower, and schedules with Project Managers

• Ensure all work meets UL systems, code requirements, and manufacturer specifications

• Maintain quality control, safety compliance, and jobsite productivity

• Provide hands-on training and leadership to crew members

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial firestop/caulking experience

• Experience leading or supervising crews preferred

• Knowledge of UL systems, firestop assemblies, and construction detailing

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

• Willingness to travel for projects as needed
