Position Overview:

The primary objective of the Material Expediter is to support our Integration Team for Information Technology Strategic Sourcing (ITSS) Enterprise Staging and Warehousing (ES&W) through facilitating and expediting the flow of materials to and from various departments. Example: Work directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to the appropriate locations, and inspecting goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications.

Responsibilities:

•Responsible for creating and processing all incoming/outgoing information to include:

•Review of contracts; monitor status of modifications and amendments.

•Review fielding plans; detailed reviews for completeness and accuracy

•Perform a wide variety of responsible analytical and administrative duties in support of assigned department.

•Participate in special projects and assigned programs, or manage an assigned program area.

Requirements:

•U.S. Citizen

•Must be able to pass a background check

•Active Clearance required

•Valid US Driver’s license

•Must be able to pass a drug test

•Minimum HS Diploma or GED; A.S. in related discipline (e.g., Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.) preferred

•Minimum one year experience

•Experience with CMPro and/or DPAS applications a plus.

•Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Project, SharePoint and Outlook.

•Possess excellent written and oral communications skills required to provide clear concise communication and documentation.

•Strong work ethic, attention to detail, professional appearance, able to work in team environment.

•Ability to brief/meet with senior level government officials (GS-15s, SESs, 0-6 military and above.

•Knowledge of IT equipment identification.
