We currently have an opportunity for a People Services Specialist-Recruitment in our Lenox, Massachusetts office.

Scope

Responsible for achieving staffing objectives through the active recruitment and evaluation of job candidates; advising managers; and managing the entire staffing process for designated non-exempt staff including service providers and interns.

Actively manages the talent acquisition and onboarding process of new candidates and ensures all open positions are addressed in a timely manner.

Manages the acquisition process including-posting the position, interviewing, conducting pre-employment process, reference checking, making offer & conducting new hire paperwork.

Establishes multiple methods to source and recruit superlative candidates, especially for difficult to fill positions.

Guides managers through the established process of requesting additional staff when appropriate.

Ensures hiring managers & peers have attended Talent Finder 10+ training and are following the established selection process.

Works with People Services team and Hiring Manager to coordinate with outside agencies to arrange for temporary service help as needed. Receives the agency billing and reviews with managers to reconcile billing and payment in a timely manner.

Participates in job fairs, networks with schools and other bodies to identify new pools of talent for difficult to fill positions.

Manages the Requisition Book and Application Management system (Taleo). Ensures candidates are notified of status, candidates are managed and positions are opened/closed according to established guidelines.

Prepares talent related reports of all positions as required or requested.

Participates in the facilitation of the Discovery Day One and follow up onboarding experiences.

Actively involved and engaged in all People Services activities and maintains a well-rounded understanding of all People Services programs/benefits in order to provide exemplary service and support to staff.

Qualifications

At least one year experience in human resources-preferable in hospitality, spa or health care industry with at least one additional year of experience in recruitment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding presentation skills, including ability to professionally speak in public.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, applicant tracking systems such as Taleo and proficiency or the ability to learn quickly with little assistance other software packages.

Strong analytical and problem solving abilities as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good judgment, decision making regarding complex and personal issues, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are critical.

Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously with frequent interruptions and remain calm.

Clean driving record preferred
